R101 is my absolute favorite! The food is awesome, service is great, and the unique, cute interior design adds to the overall experience. It's definitely my go-to ramen place, deserving of a solid five stars!
So good. Good ramen. Yummy toppings. Quick and good service. I usually dine in but they're good for take out too. My kid loves it too. Get the black garlic oil added in. Nice clean solid ramen place.
Yay an authentic ramen spot close to home!
I like how the seating is set up at this restaurant. It is a large table set up in the middle with stools for multiple parties to sit at. In addition, there are tables surrounding the windows for seating. It feels very home-like and welcoming. You can see the cooks cook your ramen while you wait.
Since it is Holiday season, they had Christmas music playing loud, but you were still able to converse.
We came around dinner time, 8PM, and it was not busy when we got seated, but when our food arrived more people came. The restaurant was full.
The food came out quickly.
I tried the tonkatsu ramen with pork, medium spice level, and add an egg. The broth was rich and creamy. Medium spice level actually had a nice kick to it that had my nose running! The pork was cut into bite size pieces and was tender and flavorful.
I will be returning to also try their rice/curry dishes!
This is my go-to ramen spot!! The food is always fresh & flavorful. The appetizers are always filling & the service is quick! I highly recommend this spot. Some of the best ramen in LA!
Dude. This place is a hidden gem. Their food is amazing!! Their karaage chicken is insane! Their ramen was pretty good too. The restaurant itself is sorta small but has seating around the windows/wall. Parking isn't great, but worth the trouble for this place. The staff was friendly and the food came out very quickly.
